Is it true that Venture Domain Hosting is giving Free domain names?
Yes. Venture Domain Hosting will provide Free domain name to all shared hosting customer that stay on with us only. Top Level Domains (TLDs) available are .com/.net/.org/.info/.biz/.com.sg/.per.sg/.sg/.net.sg/.edu.sg/.org.sg only.
If I already got a domain then will I still entitled to the Free domain names?
No, but Venture Domain Hosting will transfer your domain name to our Domain Registrar and an additional 1 year will be added to your current domain expiry date.
Will I be able to get back my domain if I switch to another provider?
Yes, but there will be a domain ownership transfer fee incurred to transfer it to your domain name registrar. The fee will be paid to our domain registrar for administrative purposes. This fee is charged by them and not us and please note that the fees does not include any domain renewal fees for additional year. If you do the transfer after your account has expired, there will be an expiry fee charged by the domain partner for domain reinstall. (Please lick here for the list of fees)
I noticed that the domain name status is 'locked'. How do I unlock it so that I can transfer it out?
All domain names are locked to prevent unauthorized transfer of the domain name other than the domain name registrant themselves. There is an administrative fee to unlock the domain name if you wished to unlock and transfer your domain out before the web services contract expires with us.
Does Venture Domain Hosting offer .com.sg domain names?
Yes, Venture Domain Hosting offers .com.sg and .sg domain names. Please note registrants for .com.sg domain name require a local business that is registered in Singapore.

The charges for domain ownership transfer will depend on how much our domain registrar charges us.
How long does it take before my domain name is online?
It will take 1 - 3 days for your domain name to be online after payment has been received.
Do we have the access to the domain manager for free domain?
No, but you can request for a transfer to your domain name registrar, there will be a fees chargeable by our registrar for transfer and Venture Domain hosting will not bear the charges.
How do I get a free domain name?
Simply sign up for any web hosting package and pre-pay for 1 (one) year. Your domain name will be free for 1 (one) year.
