  Free Web Hosting and Email Hosting Policy

How do I get free hosting?
Simply sign up for any of our domain name package and pre-pay for 1 year. Your hosting will be free for one year.

Do you really provide FREE web hosting and email hosting?
Yes, the hosting is free as long as the domain name is a new sign-up, renewal with us or transferred to our Domain Registrar.

Can I use other hosting providers ?
Yes, customers are free to switch to other providers. The domain name will need point to the new provider's DNS.

If I already have hosting space, will I still be entitled to the Free hosting?
Yes, but Venture Domain Hosting will transfer your domain name to our Domain Registrar and an additional 1 (one) year will be added to your current domain expiry date. The hosting will start from the date the domain name is transferred to our Domain Registrar successfully for a period of one year.

Example: If your omain name expires on 8 Aug 2007 and you transfer to us today on 7 July 2007, it will be extended to 8 Aug 2008 and the hosting period will last from 7 July 2007 to 7 July 2008.

Is there any refund?
No, since you are only paying the domain name registrar for the domain name. The minimum domain name registration is one year unless otherwise stated.

Can I 'change' my domain name during the one year of hosting?
Yes, but you will need to pay the domain name registrar a fee to change the domain name (Please click here for the list of fees).

Is there any SLA provided ?
No, the FREE hosting service is complimentary and there is NO Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Do you provide technical support if the server has technical problems?
Yes, we provide online technical support via our Online Support Center. You must submit your technical problem through the Online Support Center because we need to monitor and track all issues. The Online Support Center will issue you a ticket number which you can use to track. Support will be given to handle server issues . If the problem faced by the customer is caused by the customer themselves, for example: the customer forgot their password, the customer mailbox is full because the customer did not clear their emails etc, the customer will be charged a troubleshooting fee (Please click here for the list of fees).

Do you provide support for other non-server technical problems?
We only handle technical problems that the server encounters. If you need help with non-server technical problems like website design, programming, how to operate your computer software etc, please check out our Add-On services for these additional services.

Do you provide phone support to FREE Hosting customers?
No, FREE Hosting customers are not entitled phone support. Only Premium Hosting customers are entitled to phone support. You can subscribe for phone support as an Add-On service. Contact us for more details.

Will I/My Organization own the domain name ?
Yes, you will own the domain name, we will register your name/company name as the registrant contact.

What do you mean by 'Self-Managed' ?
It means all the web site management, creation, updating are done by the customer. We do not provide support on this. Customers will be given the web based control panel to self-administer their account. Check out our Add-On services should you need our other professional services.
