Transfer-in (from other registrar to Venture Domain Hosting)
A domain password from the current registrar is required
to effect the transfer. Please approach the current registrar
for the domain control panel password (if applicable) and the authorization code for transfer. On receiving
your password, please forward it to us at support@vdomainhost.com.sg, or fax +65 6836-0278.
Transfer-out (from Venture Domain Hosting to another provider)
A Domain Name Transfer Out fee is applicable for transfer out of domain names. Domain Name Transfer Out requests must be made in writing to support@vdomainhost.com.sg at least 90 days before the expiry date of the Domain Name.
If the Domain Name Transfer Out request is made less than 90 days before the expiry date of the domain name, the Domain Name Owner must first renew the Domain Name with Venture Domain Hosting, in addition to the Domain Name Transfer Out fee.
Transfer of Registrant/Owner
Both the current registrant ("transferor") and the new registrant
("transferee") should fill in the Ownership Transfer Form (Words) or Ownership Transfer Form (PDF).
A confirmatory letter printed on letterhead from the
transferor confirming the transfer of the domain names(s)
must be submitted together with
the ownership transfer form. All documents are to be
submitted in original form to Venture Domain Hosting,
33 Sembawang Hills Drive Singapore 575909.
A fee of S$100 is applicable for registrant transfer.
Request of Domain Name Authorization Code
The current registrant ("transferor") should fill in the Domain Name Authorization Request Form (Words) or Domain Name Authorization Request Form (PDF) to request for the Domain Name Authorization Code needed for the transfer.
All documents are to be
submitted in original form to Venture Domain Hosting,
33 Sembawang Hills Drive Singapore 575909.
A fee of S$100 is applicable for the request of Domain Name Authorization Code.
Venture Domain Hosting reserves the right not to transfer a domain name if the correct
authority has not been obtained from either party. The transfer fees
will not be refunded if a request is found to lack the correct authority.
Each domain name in the world must be unique - only one company can register and utilize yourdomain.com. However, there are very few restrictions on domain names - anyone may register just about any domain name they wish. As a result, more than thousands of .com, .net and .org domain names are registered every day, effectively removing these domains from availability. So act fast now !! There is a strong possibility that if you do not register your domain name, another company or individual will!

A foreign company which is not registered in Singapore may apply for domain name in this category if it has an agent in Singapore. The foreign company is required to duly authorized the agent in writing to apply for the registration of the domain name.

For network providers in Singapore. Registrants must
possess a valid licence issued by Info-Communications
Development Authority (IDA).
.org.sg
For non-profit organizations. Registrants must be registered
or are about to be registered with the Registry of Societies,
and other non-profit organizations.

For educational institutions registered with Ministry
of Education, Singapore ("MOE").
.per.sg
For individuals who want to have their own websites.
Registrant must be Singaporean citizen or permanent resident
above 21 years. Registrant below the age of 21 may apply
with consent from parents or guardian.

Both local and foreign individuals or organizations can
register domain name in this category. Foreigners are
required to appoint an agent in Singapore as Administrative
Contact.
Foreigners are required to duly authorized the agent
in writing to apply for the registration of the domain
name.
